Hummingbird Hideaways is part of a fantastic journey that began a decade ago. Owner, Crispin Lewis envisioned the creation of a vacation experience on his beloved, “Nature Isle”, with private cottages as unique as Dominica. Joined later by wife Jennifer, they built the first of a trio of cottages called, “HAVEN.” Cottages “ESCAPE” and “RETREAT” are soon to follow. Their goal is to provide guests with an experience of a lifetime. Each individual cottage is private and secure with its own bathroom and spacious personal verandah to relax and rejuvenate. Completely customized tours, utilizing your rental vehicle, are available for sightseeing, hiking and bird watching with experienced guide, Crispin “Bob Marley” Lewis. Where ever you want to go, he will lead the way! Full, hot breakfasts, lunches and dinners are available upon request or choose an optional, a la carte, continental breakfast to be enjoyed at your leisure.
This is just the beginning. Future plans for Hummingbird Hideaways include a quaint cafe to taste local cuisine, a simple venue for artists and musicians to showcase their talents, informal drum circles, catering, event planning and MORE…! It only gets better from here!
